Interests:

  • A love of travel - 35 countries and counting. My goal is to add a new country to my list every year to ensure I never stop exploring and learning about the vast world we live in.

  • Devotion to the written word -  My room used to be cluttered with endless journals filled with stories. I've gone more high-tech since those days but my love for the written word has never wavered. I currently have 16 books published with another on the way.

  • Shakespeare for kids - During my time in Hong Kong I developed a club to get school children ages 7 and up interested in the Bard. Using infographics, stories, play excerpts, and movie clips I walked the kids through several different plays from A Midsummer Night's Dream to Hamlet and beyond.

Assets:

  • Adaptability - From being part of a 12 person team to a one-woman solo department, I can adapt to any professional scenario. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience collaborating with others while also establishing myself as a reliable teammate, knowledgeable leader, and dedicated employee.

  • Flexibility - I have little problem adjusting quickly to change. I've often been in situations where I've had to scrap work I'd spent considerable time or change directions on a moment's notice in order to meet new goals or incorporate new information.

  • Creativity - As a marketer, teacher, and writer I'm accustomed to thinking outside the box and developing creative strategies to solve a variety of complex problems.
